Hard to say because in the most cases several puppies die in the biggest litters. But I think the maximum born was 11-12...
Usually the litters are 50% smaller - it is something what Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs inheritated from wolves. The average number of puppies born in Slovakia was for many years the same as in the litters of Wolves (4-6)... Wolves are always VERY clever (in contrast to the dogs ) - they give birth to 4-6 puppies. The big litters have 8 puppies. It is the perfect number for the female and give the biggest chances for the puppies to survive and develop well. The huge litters by "wolfish" CsW are sometimes caused by 'good luck'. But usually it is influence of the Germans Shepherd Dogs where females give birth to much more puppies as she can care for (8-12 sometimes even more)... Huge litter are usually sign that the parents have more characteristics of GSD than of a Wolf.
